SWIP
Welcome to the Schoolwide/Improvement Plan. This application has two purposes: School Improvement and Schoolwide Plans.
School Improvement
This is the LEA’s application for the school improvement plan and school improvement funds. The application process includes completing a budget and a plan for the funds.
The budget tab will only appear for schools that have a budget allocation.
Budgets and plans will be reviewed by the SDE. A notification letter will be sent to each LEA upon approval of the application.
If there are any revisions required, these must be completed before a notification letter is issued and money can be accessed in the Grant Reimbursement Application (GRA).
Schoolwide Plans
All Schoolwide Programs must have an LEA approved schoolwide plan, which has been submitted to and acknowledged by the SDE. Schoolwide schools may use the SWIP for the annual schoolwide plan review.
This application can also be used for any schools moving from Targeted Assistance to Schoolwide. The Schoolwide Plan will remain in effect for the duration of the school’s participation in a Title I-A Schoolwide Program.
Schoolwide schools may also use the SWIP for the Schoolwide Plan annual evaluation, but it is not required.
Comments
A link to the Comments section is located in the LEA’s left navigation menu. The comment section stores the LEA’s and the SDE’s communications concerning the plan.

Access
If you need access to this tool, please contact your LEA Technology Director and request one of the below SDE Security Roles.
SWIP School.Editor:
Users with this role can edit School plans, view plans for other schools in the district, and view the District page. This should be granted at the school level. Granting this role at the district level will give the user the ability to edit plans for all of the schools in the district.
SWIP District.Editor:
Users with this role can edit data on the District page and view plans for all schools in the district. Only users with this role are able to submit the SWIP.
